2012 – 2014, RMIT / Sessional tutor
Teaching of a short course in Advanced Photoshop for Digital Photography.

2006 – 2011, Stuart Pettigrew Design / Senior Designer and Photographer
A traditional graphic design studio specialising in corporate design. My role covered all areas of the design process from quoting through to finished art. Further to this I contributed photography, illustration and copy writing depending on the scope of the project. The team at SPD was limited to 2 or 3 designers plus the creative director and so responsibilities rested with each designer for project management and client liaison of their allocated project. Clients I worked closely with included Toyota Australia, Pitcher Partners, Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, Austin Health, Daytek, Sustainable Table, Cheviot Bridge, Mind Australia, Hanover Welfare Services, Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute, Melbourne Water, Tenix and Norton Rose Australia.

2005 – 2006, Oswald Sealy / Designer and Photographer
Working as part of an in-house design team, my responsibilities included the creation of catalogues, advertising, visual identities, signage and product photography. As an umbrella to smaller labels I was involved with the design of brands including retail outlet Oscar’s and lifestyle product label Meizai. I also set up and managed the photographic studio and expanded the role of in-house image creation. I photographed everything from jewellery to furniture to trade fair stands. As part of a team of 3 each designer was responsible for their individual projects from concept development to finished artwork.

2001 – 2004, Konar Photography / Lab Operator and Photographer
Duties included function photography, developing and printing C-41 film, scanning and printing digital files, image correction and manipulation.
